TWO men have been arrested in connection with eight burglaries carried out during one night in the Walshes area of Stourport earlier this week.
The men, one in his 30s and the other in his 20s, were arrested in Stourport yesterday on suspicion of breaking into sheds and garages in Beach Road and Princess Way overnight on Monday, April 8.
Two Cannondale mountain bikes stolen in one of the burglaries were recovered by officers along with another bike also believed to have been stolen.
The men, who were arrested, were taken to Kidderminster Police Station for questioning by detectives and later released on police bail until Wednesday, May 29, pending further inquiries.
Officers are still appealing for anyone with information about the burglaries to contact them at Kidderminster CID, quoting the incident reference 24-N-090413, or anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
