A MUSICAL journey will celebrate the career of one of the most iconic figures in the music industry.
The Johnny Cash Roadshow will re-create the sound and essence of the work of the Man in Black, fronted by Malvern musician Clive John with the backing of the Spirit Band.
Featuring Jill Schoonjans as June Carter and two other talented ladies making up the Carter sisters, all aspects of Cash’s life are covered.
The audience at the Courtyard in Hereford will be taken from the 1950s right up to 2002 and all the stops in between on Friday, April 19 from 7.30pm.
Herefordshire’s centre for the arts will be treated to all the greatest hits - Ring of Fire, Walk the Line, as well as Carter-Cash duets such as If I Were A Carpenter and many more.
All the numbers are accompanied by a visual back drop of evocative video shots and images from Johnny Cash’s life.http://www.courtyard.org.uk
