TEENAGERS looked at the world through the eyes of a drunk when they tried a pair of ‘beer goggles’ on for size at a session exploring the dangers of alcohol and drugs.
Pupils at Evesham High School stepped into the shoes of drink and drug users as part of a session about the dangers of using the substances at the Four Pools Road school alongside Wychavon’s Youth Bus and the Ourside Youth Centre.
The pupils were quizzed on drug types and names and played games including Russian roulette with eggs, which showed that solvent abuse could be your first and last time.
Morgan Spiers, aged 14, said: “I learnt loads about the dangers of drugs, there are so many different types and young people don’t understand them. I really enjoyed trying the beer goggles too.”
The bus will next visit Long Lartin on April 4, Middle Littleton on April 8 and Bretforton on April 10.
