JEWELLERY worth more than £1,000 and computer equipment was stolen during a burglary in Kidderminster.

Thieves broke into the home in Franche Road between 9.30am and 12.50pm on Friday, 5 April, and stole a silver Apple iPad, a red Dell Notebook, a blue Dell Inspiron computer, a gold chain bracelet, a silver cross and chain and a silver cuff bracelet half engraved with flowers. They also took three rings; one gold with rubies set in a line, one silver or white gold with sapphires and opals and a gold signet ring.

Investigating officer, PC Adrian Bartlett said: “We would like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and remembers seeing people acting suspiciously, especially any cars parked in unusual circumstances.

“Anyone who is offered items similar to those stolen for sale and is unsure of their origin should call police straight away.”

Witnesses or anyone with information about the burglary should contact PC Bartlett as soon as possible on 101, quoting incident 231-S-050413, or ring the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
