AN evening of great music and entertainment is on the cards when an award-winning harmony group is joined on stage by a classically trained soprano.

Brit-Award-winning classical group Blake bring their Live in Concert tour to Malvern Theatres on Friday, May 24, featuring songs from their latest album Start Over and support from London-based Natalie Coyle.

The two-hour show will showcase original numbers from their first pop album and the contemporary harmony pop covers that have won them worldwide fame.

Their change in direction comes after the success of three chart-topping and award-winning albums, the success of which has seen Ollie Baines, Humphrey Berney, Stephen Bowman and Jules Knight perform for the Queen three times.

Inspired by the Bee Gees, Boyz II Men and the Beach Boys, they have also impressed audiences at the Royal Albert Hall, Wembley Stadium and Wimbledon’s Centre Court so their appearance in the Forum Theatre finds them in relatively intimate surroundings.

On the night they will be ably supported by Natalie, who has sung with the likes of Susan Boyle, Il Divo, Andrea Bocelli and Katherine Jenkins as well as performing on BBC’s Songs Of Praise and during the live final of Britain’s Got Talent in 2011.

Having trained with Steven Maughan at the Amsterdam Opera House and Jesús León in London, she has been preparing to go into the studio with the producer of Queen, Russell Watson and Elaine Paige - Mike Moran.

The concert starts at 7.45pm and tickets are £21.
