Bin fire in city centre
A FIRE crew was called to the city centre yesterday lunchtime after a fire was reported in a waste bin at the junction of Friar Street and Pump Street.
The call came at 1.10pm, the crew used a hose reel to put the fire out and had finished the job in seven minutes.
