YOUNG bakers made sweet treats to help their school’s Red Nose Day fund-raising efforts.

Pupils at Burlish Park Primary School in Stourport raised more than £370 by donating money to wear something red to school.

Year six pupils also raised a further £177 by baking and selling cakes to the younger children and their parents, while children in year two held a talent contest.

The school managed to raise more than £550 for Comic Relief.
