Beauty tutor is a finalist in teaching competition
SARAH Salter, from South Worcestershire College in Evesha,m has been selected as a finalist for the 2013 Pearson Teaching Awards.
The beauty therapy tutor, who has worked at the college for 10 years, was sent an official thank you, via the Pearson Teaching Awards website, by students Jess Ross and Kayley Parslow.
Following a lesson of observation, meetings between judges, students and staff and an endorsement by college vice-principal Maria Arkell, Ms Salter was named one of three finalists for the Midlands.
The results will be announced on Friday, May 17, which is Thank a Teacher Day.
