A TEENAGER is fighting for his life after he was hit by a lorry.
The pedestrian, aged in his late teens, was hit by a lorry and is critical but stable after he suffered a head injury during the incident in Bromyard Road, Knightwick, between Worcester and Bromyard, shortly after 10.50am on Saturday.
A spokesman for West Mercia Police said today the casualty remains in ‘a stable but critical condition’.
We reported on the day that he was flown by air ambulance to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham. He was anaesthetised at the scene and his airway maintained. He was immobilised with the use of a scoop stretcher.
