A PERSON has been hit by a train, causing delays for passengers.
All services are now running normally after a person was hit at Barnt Green. The delays affected services between Birmingham New Street and Bromsgrove/Redditch. Passengers faced delays of up to 45 minutes.
CrossCountry and London Midland routes were affected which had an impact on passengers travelling to Lichfield Trent Valley, Four Oaks, Aston, Birmingham New Street, Five Ways, University, Selly Oak, Bournville, Kings Norton, Longbridge, Barnt Green and Redditch; also Nottingham, Derby, Tamworth, Water Orton, Birmingham New Street, Bromsgrove and Cheltenham.
The condition of the person hit by the train is not known at this stage.
