EASTER arrived early for families in Worcestershire who enjoyed a day of activities.
Worcestershire Wildlife Trust hosted the annual event at Lower Smite Farm, Hindlip, near Worcester.
The day’s activities had meant to include pond dipping and nest building, but the freezing conditions and falling snow meant families took part in indoor activities such as crafts, and a colouring competition as well as face-painting and an egg-themed trail.
Neighbouring farmer Terry Hill brought along some of his new-born lambs and a Tudor farmer told stories of what life was like on a farm in a bygone era.
