Worcestershire County Council’s gritting team will be out again tonight as road surface temperatures are expected to fall to a mimimum -6C with a risk of frost, despite the dry conditions.
Tomorrow the cold weather will continue with variable cloud and the odd snow shower at times.
There is a small possibility of a slight build-up at night and any damp road surfaces from earlier snow showers are likely to freeze overnight resulting in icy stretches and a low risk of frost. Temperatures are expected to hit highs of 5C, although it will feel much colder at just 1C.
Saturday will again be cold, with breaks in the cloud. Again temperatures will hit highs of 5C during the day, but will feel more like 1C.
Some areas may see the odd scattered snow shower although most places will stay dry, with a slight possibility of light snow accumulations overnight into Sunday. Sunday and Monday will continue the same cold easterly theme with most areas remaining dry throughout and a low risk of frost overnight as road surface temperatures fall to a minimum -2C.
But day temperatures on Monday will feel warmer with highs of 7C, feeling more like 5C.
