PUPILS at Blessed Edward Oldcorne Catholic College were given a special talk as part of their studies about the Holocaust.
Fred Naftel visited year nine pupils at the Worcester school to give a presentation about Holocaust and the impact of prejudice and discrimination Mr Naftel’s mother and grandparents escaped from Nazi Germany in 1934, but his great grandmother was interned in a concentration camp and survived. His great uncle and great aunt both died at a camp.
He also talked about anti-Semitism and racism in general linking it to more recent examples of genocide and atrocities around the world.
