A TEAM of heating and hot water specialists are getting ready to bare their soles and handle the heat for charity.
Thirteen employees of Worcester Bosch Group are taking part in Sight Concern’s Hot to Trot charity fire walk at the Sixways Stadium, home of Worcester Warriors, tonight at 8.30pm.
The event, which the group is sponsoring this year, is open to all and the team hopes to join many others willing to put mind over matter and hot foot it across 20 feet of burning coals to help raise funds for the charity.
Sue Pennington, consumer brand manager at Worcester Bosch Group, said: “Sight Concern is a charity that is close to the company’s heart.
“Getting involved in the fire walk seemed a fantastic, if a little daunting, way to carry on our fund-raising efforts into 2013.”
Registration for the fire walk costs £20 and participants are encouraged to raise £100 for the charity, which supports blind and partially sighted people to lead independent and fulfilling lives.
