PERRIER-award winning performer, writer and comedian Will Adamsdale is bringing his new show The Victorian in the Wall to Malvern Theatres as part of an 11-venue tour across the UK.
The Victorian in the Wall is a surreal and fantastical story about a work-shy writer who discovers a Victorian man living in the wall of his flat.
With songs about knock-throughs and recycling, the production is co-directed by Will Adamsdale and Lyndsey Turner, and stars Jason Barnett, Chris Branch, Matthew Steer and Melanie Wilson.
When a work-shy writer discovers a Victorian man living in the wall of his flat, everyone is surprised and adjustments need to be made.
But can the strange visitor unlock his hopeless career and his flagging relationship?
Has a story been buried in these walls for over a century?
The Victorian in the Wall is on tour to 11 venues around the country prior to its London run at the Royal Court Theatre from May 11.
Writer Will Adamsdale was the shock winner of the Perrier Award for Comedy in 2004 for Jackson’s Way after arriving in Edinburgh to workshop the show for a week.
The show is co-produced by Fuel which was founded in 2004 by Louise Blackwell and Kate McGrath.
Fuel is a producing organisation that works in partnership with contemporary theatre artists to develop, create and present new work for all.
The Victorian in the Wall is at Malvern Theatres on Tuesday, March 26 at 7.45pm.
Tickets cost £11 (£8 Under 26s) and are available online at malvern-theatres.co.uk or from the box office on 01684 892277.
