PEACE won’t be letting the dust settle once their debut album is released to the wider world.
In Love hits the record stores on Monday, March 25 and the Birmingham-based four-piece will waste no time in heading out on their biggest headline tour to date.
Brothers Harry and Sam Koisser along with Doug Castle and Dom Boyce are set to demonstrate their forward-thinking musical mentality that has seen them tipped for big things by countless industry experts over the past 12 months or so.
Harry suggests there’s an element of mystery to their fist long player, which was produced by Jim Abiss, who has worked with Arctic Monkeys and Adele among others, and will be put out by Columbia Records.
"In love kind of manages to celebrate every aspect of something it probably maybe isn't really capable of making sense of. Saying that, does anything really make sense?”
Among its 14 tracks is a heady mix of euphoric and swaggering tunes, including previous singles Follow Baby, Wraith and California Daze.
Fresh off the back of the NME Awards Tour and the sprawling SXSW festival in Austin, Texas, they will be on the road for the whole of April, taking in Germany, Holland, Belgium and France, as well as travelling around the British Isles before a four-night residency at London’s Birthday’s venue.
During their time in the Faithful City, the band was known as November and the Criminal and before venturing to the second city, Doug and Dom attended Bishop Perowne CE College, while Sam and Harry went to Droitwich Spa High School and Nunnery Wood High School.
Their upward trajectory will continue throughout the summer, when they’ll hit a number of festivals including Summer Sonic in Japan, Bestival, Primavera Sound in Barcelona and T in the Park.
The album is available on CD, vinyl and as a digital download.
