JEWELLERY and cash were stolen during three burglaries in Claines last night.
Thieves targeted two homes in Cornmeadow Lane and one in Cope Road between 4pm and 11.45pm, breaking in by smashing windows or through back doors.
The exact value of the stolen items is not yet known.
Detective Sergeant Dave Knight urged witnesses to come forward.
He said: "Three burglaries in such a small area is extremely unusual and we are very keen to hear from anyone who believes they saw anything or anyone suspicious in Claines late yesterday afternoon or last night.
"We are obviously looking at the possibility that the same individual or individuals are responsible for all three burglaries and therefore every possible forensic opportunity is being examined at the three locations.
"We will also be carrying out house-to-house enquiries in the area throughout the course of the day today."
Anyone with information on the burglaries should call West Mercia Police on 101, quoting incident number 747-S-010313, or ring Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
