A WORCESTER band has tasted the sweet smell of success after receiving glowing praise following their performance at the LG Arena.
Indie-pop three-piece Done By Sunrise supported Girls Aloud during their Ten reunion tour at the Birmingham venue on Tuesday night.
The Howland siblings, Loren, aged 20, Jodie, 17, and Scott, 22, of St John’s, Worcester, performed two half-hour sets on the Forum Live stage in front of around 10,000 fans.
Singer Loren said: “It went absolutely brilliantly.
“We gave out all the CDs we had and gained loads of followers on Twitter and Facebook.
“We had quite a few children there who asked us for photographs and autographs which has never happened before.
“We also spoke to a lady from Cardiff who absolutely loved it."
- Done By Sunrise will next perform at Moochers Jailhouse in Stourbridge, supporting Fran Classic on March 12. Tickets cost £3 and are available by contacting the band on Twitter, Facebook or email scott@donebysunrise.co.uk.
