THE products of a meeting of minds between a British pop genius and NYC songwriter can be heard this month.
Wreckless Eric and Amy Rigby come to Worcester’s Marr’s Bar on Sunday, March 24 to promote their new album A Working Mueum.
Eric is best known for his time with Stiff Records and his classic Whole Wide World and Amy most notable moments have come in the shape of her album Diary Of A Mod Housewife and underground garage favourite Dancing With Joey Ramone.
As a duo they have been performing and recording together since 2006, releasing two critically-acclaimed albums and touring the US, UK and Europe.
Their latest work was written both separately and together and recorded during their relocation from Europe to America during the past year it mixes stories and sounds of improvisations, personal histories, psychedelic interludes and the threat of disco.
Doors to the Pierpoint Street open at 8 pm and tickets are £8 in advance or £9 on the night.
