THE body of a man found in the Black Mountains yesterday has been identified as that of missing Hereford man Michael Ruck.
The 45-year-old had not been seen since leaving work in Hereford on Thursday.
On Saturday, his vehicle was found by police parked near to Grwyne Fawr Reservoir in the Brecon Beacons National Park.
Officers immediately began searching the area for Mr Ruck and his body was discovered by a member of the public yesterday at around 3.30pm, a few miles from where his car was found abandoned.
Formal identification has already taken place and the death is currently being treated as unexplained.
The coroner for Herefordshire has been informed and a post mortem examination will take place in due course. The death is not thought to be suspicious.
