MUSIC forming the bedrock traditional British folk will rub shoulders with its worldwide counterparts next week.
Peter Knight’s Gigspanner has been hailed by Songlines magazine as “another milestone in folk’s rebirth of cool moment” and audiences at Worcester’s Huntingdon Hall can experience it from 8pm on Friday, February 15.
But there is said to be far more to the trio than meets the eye with Steeleye Span’s legendary fiddle player helping to extend the band’s musical reach to Eastern European, French, Cajun, African and even Aboriginal influences.
