Wendy Hayes

I have only just heard the very sad news about Wendy. She was an old friend & even though we didn't get together that often, when we met it was like we had never been apart. She was such a kind & helpful person to all & was so respected in nursing. Wendy's passing is such a loss to the nursing profession & to the vascular specialism for which she was a Nurse Consultant. She was such an amazing role model for nurses & has made an enormous contribution to nurse training. Her expertise in nursing & the vascular specialism along with her good-hearted nature never ceased to make an impact on the people that she met. She will be missed by so many people, not just locally but across the UK as she had been involved with national (& some international) healthcare related work. Sending much love to Wendy's family at this very sad time & to let them know Wendy's influence will continue to be passed on by so many nurses she met.
