Such a great teacher. I do remember he had a great love for sport & singing. Been to see the Male Voice choir several times & enjoyed every minute. Thinking of your family & sending Big Hugs. Rest in Peace Mr Hawkins ❤️❤️ ****

Bob was instrumental in keeping Droitwich Hockey Club going in the late 70s, attracting a number of young players to the club, myself included. That core of players took up the torch when Bob stepped away and the club thrives to this day as a result of his efforts all those years ago. Many of us spent a lot of years playing the game, deriving a lot of pleasure from doing so. Again all thanks to Bob. That is a decent legacy by anyone’s standards, before you even factor in his ‘day job'. ‘Thank you’ barely seems adequate. My condolences to Graeme and Melanie on their loss. I can still hear your Dad’s ‘Upton Snodsbury 553’ telephone response in my head and I’m smiling as I recall those far off days. Andy Bell
