FORMER Worcester Wolves player-coach Skouson Harker is facing disciplinary action from the club as the row that has seen Chuck Evans quit rumbles on.
The Canadian is one of several players that went on an unauthorised strike after comments made in a post-match analysis session after the Cheshire Jets match.
The British Basketball League side, who sent a weakened team to Glasgow Rocks yesterday and lost 111-59, have sacked Evaldas Zabas, Vidmantis Uzukurailitis, Nerijus Karlikanovas, Randy George and Chey Christie.
Wolves chairman Roger Clarke said: “We have investigated the comments made in the post-match analysis session from the Cheshire Jets match last weekend.
“We have taken Chuck to a disciplinary and he felt it was in the best interest of the club that he resigned. We have also cancelled the contracts of five players and Skouson Harker is to go to a disciplinary.
“All this has been reported to the BBL.”
Clarke is hopeful Wolves will soon be back to full strength and have a new coach in place.
“We have an American point-guard flying over and we will be holding trials for players,” the chairman added.
