MARK Danks has returned to Worcester City after agreeing terms with the St George’s Lane side.
The former Wolverhampton Wanderers trainee is one of a trio of signings City manager Carl Heeley has made in the last 24 hours.
Danks is joined at the Lane by midfielder Kevin O’Connor after he left Blue Square Bet North rivals AFC Telford United and ex-Stafford Rangers midfielder Tom Thorley.
Striker Danks originally joined City from Forest Green Rovers and left the Lane at the end of the 2007/08 campaign.
After spells at Zamaretto League Premier Division outfit Halesowen and Telford, the former England schoolboy international joined up with ex-City chief Andy Preece at Northwich Victoria.
O’Connor has been in Heeley’s sights for some time and his switch comes following talks with New Bucks Head boss Andy Sinton.
Danks and O’Connor come hot on the heels the arrival of former Stoke City youngster Thorley.
