CHRIS Smith will be walking a suspension tightrope in Worcester City's FA Cup second qualifying round clash with Romulus tomorrow (3pm).
Smith, who has played in the centre of midfield since Des Lyttle returned to the back-three last month, is just one yellow card away from a one-match ban.
The 25-year-old was booked for the fourth time three minutes into the second-half of last Saturday's 3-2 victory over Blyth Spartans.
City manager Andy Preece knows Smith has to be careful but also said another booking was inevitable in the future.
He said: "I am aware of that so we will just have to see how it goes. He's going to get to five sooner or later, let's hope it's later.
"A couple of bookings he could have done without. One was for kicking the ball away and one was for a bit of retaliation.
"Hopefully it will be a long time before he gets another yellow card."
