PAUL West has resigned as manager of Evo-Stik Southern League Premier Division outfit Evesham United after more than five years at the helm.
The Robins chief, who first joined the club 15 years ago as a player took over the reins from David Busst in 2006, left the Evo-Stik Southern League Premier Division strugglers after Saturday’s 3-1 defeat at St George’s Lane.
The loss saw Evesham slip to second-from-bottom in the league and West said it was the right time for him to go.
"I have had a fantastic time, it has been a real privilege, but I feel that I have taken Evesham as far as I can," West said."
