THREE players are set to sign for Worcester City ahead of today’s final pre-season match at Hinckley United.
Martin Butler, Aaron Moses-Garvey and Richard Mace have all agreed deals with the Blue Square South club.
Former Reading and Walsall striker Butler and Moses-Garvey will further strengthen City’s attacking options, while keeper Mace will be back-up to Jake Meredith following Danny McDonnell’s retirement.
Moses-Garvey, with Birmingham last season, has featured in all of City’s warm-up matches to date after first being trialled by manager Richard Dryden against AFC Liverpool in May.
Butler, who appeared as a second-half substitute against Stourport Swifts last week, has been suffering with a virus but trained with the squad on Thursday.
Dryden said: “Aaron’s got pace and he’s something different from the rest of the forwards. He goes past people with the ball.
“Martin trained on Thursday and as soon as we get him match-fit he will be decent. He’s got quality to bring to the team.”
