THREE judo stars from Droitwich's Kazoku-Kan club picked up titles from the National Closed Championships at Erdington Academy.
Seven students competed for the chance to go to Holland in May for the 22nd Houvast tournament in Mierlo.
There were golds for Eleanor Warburton and Molly Charlwood in the over 65kg and under 60kg categories respectively.
Rob Alloway added another gold in the under 66kg dan grade section.
Brother-and-sister duo Sian and Harry Evans both earned under 40kg bronze medals as did Felicity Warburton in the under 50kg competition.
Novice James Worsfold impressed in the under 36kg section but missed out on a medal against more experienced competitors.
Head coach Alloway said: “It was a great performance from everyone. The training for myself and the other champions selected for the British squad starts now.”
Club instructor Rich Morrish said of Worsfold: “He did so well and we are so proud of him. He is a shining example to anyone that participates in judo or wants to try it themselves."
