STRIKER Craig Reid has left Vanarama National League strugglers Kidderminster Harriers by mutual consent.
Reid had a disappointing spell at Aggborough, netting just five times in 34 games last season.
He seldom featured for Harriers this term and was believed to have been among the highest earners at the club.
Chairman Rod Brown said amicable talks had taken place between Reid and Harriers.
Brown said: “I’d like to thank Craig for his profes - sionalism while these discussions have been taking place.
“I think it’s obvious we needed to do something that would enable him to go on and play his football else - where and continue his ca - reer, as well as taking care of the club’s interests, which we have done.”
Reid’s most notable spell came at Newport where he scored 62 goals in 106 outings between 2008 and 2010, securing Football League action with Stevenage, Aldershot and Southend.
He arrived at Aggborough in the summer of 2014 having finished a spell at Stevenage.
Harriers boss Gary Whild said: “We’d like to wish Craig well for the future.”
