AN appeal has been launched to trace a three year-old girl from Worcester who has gone missing with her father.
Tanith Powell was last seen at her home with 42 year-old father Ewan Powell, who lives in Oxfordshire, on Saturday morning.
Police have described the disappearance as "out of character" for Mr Powell who was last spoken to on Monday.
Tanith is white, 3ft 3ins, of slim build, with brown hair. She was last seen wearing a pink coat with flowers on, a grey long sleeve top, dark-coloured leggings and Spiderman trainers.
Mr Powell, meanwhile, is described as white, 5ft 10ins, with short brown hair, and is of medium build. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a black jumper and brown shoes.
Thames Valley Police, which is coordinating the search, says anyone with information should get in touch with them.
"I am appealing for anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Mr Powell and his daughter to contact police," said Chief Inspector Elaine Axe.
“This is out of character for him and we would like to check that he and his daughter are ok."
Mr Powell lives in Benson, which is on the banks of the River Thames, just south of Oxford.
Tanith's exact address hasn't been disclosed by police.
Anyone with information should call the 24-hour Thames Valley Police Enquiry Centre on 101, quoting URN 739 26/5.
