AN investigation is under way into the cause of a fire that destroyed a toilet roll warehouse in Malvern.
Witnesses reported seeing flames from miles around the Enigma Business Park, where one of ESP's two buildings was destroyed.
Up to 70 firefighters from the two counties battled to extinguish Wednesday's fire in Sparrowhawk Close. Some were still there dampening down the smoking building yesterday afternoon.
Spokesman for Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service Alec Mackie said: "We still aren't anywhere near determining what caused the fire in the first place, mainly because the building is wrecked and the roof collapsed inside, leaving a pile of debris which has to be sifted."
At the scene of the blaze, station manager for Worcester Ian Seward spoke of the speed at which the flames engulfed the building.
He said: "From being first seen to it going through the roof was five minutes - it was very fast."
