Tractor catches fire on Castlemorton Common
A TRACTOR belonging to Malvern Hills Trust was destroyed after catching fire.
The incident happened at Eight Oaks on Castlemorton Common while trust staff were clearing scrub growth on Tuesday.
The fire brigade was called just before noon, and a crew from the Ledbury station was sent out. However, they were unable to save the vehicle.
A spokesman for the trust said that no-one was hurt and an investigation was being carried out, although it is thought it was caused by an electrical fault.
