FIRE fighters were called out on Sunday afternoon to a report of a car on fire on a rural road near Upton.
The call came in at 12.53pm from the B4213 between Corse Lawn and Tirley and one fire engine from Tewkesbury was mobilised.
On arrival the crew found that the vehicle was alight and one hosereel was used to extinguish the fire.
The fire was extinguished and the crew had left the scene within 15 minutes. Damage to the vehicle was limited and there were no reports of any injuries.
