FLOOD warnings and alerts are still in place on two rivers which run through Worcestershire.
A flood warning is in place for the river Teme at Tenbury Wells and bransford, while a flood alert has been issued for the river Severn in Worcestershire.
But a spokesperson for the Environment Agency said the river at Tenbury has now peaked at lower levels than expected, and the river at Bransford is stabilising.
Flooding is expected on the river Teme following the heavy rainfall during the night and today, affecting Tenbury and Bransford, while residents in Worcestershire are warned to be prepared for flooding from the river Severn.
Emergency services had a busy night responding to incidents caused by localised flooding.
Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service received several calls to flooding incidents in the county overnight, particularly in Tenbury Wells.
Two people were also rescued from a property near Bewdley.
The A456 at Newnham Bridge, near to Tenbury Wells, was also closed by police because cars were getting stuck in flood water.
The water has now started to drain away but police said the road is still not passable safely.
West Mercia Police said they also had a busy night in Herefordshire.
Some people found themselves in deep water while in their vehicles and there were also a number of cases of properties being flooded.
