WORCESTER Business Improvement District (BID) has announced Phoebe Dawson has taken on the role of BID manager.
Phoebe joined the team towards the end August having previously managed the successful Worcestershire Growth Hub, Worcestershire Business Central.
She has a strong background in business support and engagement, and joins the team at an exciting time for Worcester BID as is drives investment projects for the city centre.
Phoebe said: “I am thrilled to be joining the Worcester BID at such a pivotal time.
"The city centre is currently in an excellent position with investment from partners and local businesses and the BID is committed to supporting our members to make the most of these opportunities.
"We are also actively lobbying to guarantee continued investment and great events, projects and developments on behalf of our levy members and visitors to Worcester.”
Erica Burlace, Worcester BID chairman, said: “The board of directors is delighted to welcome Phoebe to the helm.
"The timing couldn’t be better."
"Phoebe has a genuine understanding of the complexities of operating a BID."
A key objective within Phoebe’s role will be to implement and launch a new multi-platform programme of engagement with all levy payers, stakeholders and interested parties in response to local, regional and international economic and behavioural changes.
