LAW firm Harrison Clark Rickerbys have reaffirmed its commitment to Worcester after moving into brand new Cathedral Square offices.
The law firm, which has been based in Worcester for more than a century, launched the new Cathedral Square offices recently with a Room with a View event taking advantage of the new office’s spectacular view of Worcester Cathedral.
Rod Thomas, managing partner, said: “Our Worcester base is important, both commercially and because it is a great place to work.
"Cathedral Square adds more than 10,000 sq ft of space and allows for further significant expansion of our numbers in Worcester above the 150 staff already here.
"We want to be firmly rooted in the heart of the city, both as a launch-pad for our growth nationally and because we value the clients and links which we have here.”
Jonathan Brew, the firm's senior partner, said: "Adding the freehold of 99 High Street to our property assets allows us to refurbish the building and bring the quality of the workspace up to the level of Cathedral Square."
Robert Capper, the firm’s head of commercial, added: “By providing a great place to work, we can attract both talented individuals who are known experts in their field and also retain our trainees who tend to stay with us after qualifying as solicitors.
"We recognise the value to our clients of both developing local talent and drawing in high-quality advisors from city firms.”
The firm also now has a permanent London base and will be expanding its Birmingham office in 2018.
Recent arrivals at partner level include Nadia Davis, the new head of family law in Worcester.
