FIREFIGHTERS have been called to tackle a burning van on the main road at Claines, in Worcester.
Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service was called to the incident, outside the Raven pub on the Droitwich Road, just after 11.20am this morning.
A spokesman said they arrived to find the vehicle "well alight" and one pump from Worcester used a hosereel and a dry powder extinguisher to put out the flames.
They left the scene just before 12.10pm.
Nicholas Williams, of Worcester, was driving along the road when he saw the vehicle go up in flames.
“Two people got out and then the whole thing went up very quickly. Police closed the road and firefighters were tackling the flames,” he said.
