Actress Rebecca Grant is known to millions for her role in BAFTA award-winning drama Holby City.
But the BBC bombshell, who plays nurse Daisha Anderson in the hit series, is about to take to a different kind of stage – at this month’s Upton Jazz Festival.
Baron’s daughter Rebecca – whose real name is Rebecca Helena Grant de Longueuil – will sing with high-energy swing band the Jive Aces at the festival on Friday, June 24. Jon Parsons, spokesman for the 26th annual jazz festival in Upton-upon-Severn, said: “I can hardly contain my excitement. Rebecca will certainly add glamour to the proceedings.
“She’s an extremely accomplished singer and we’re delighted to welcome her and the Jive Aces to the festival.
“It promises to be a fantastic start to the festival.”
The International Upton Jazz Festival takes place from Friday, June 24 to Sunday, June 26.
