A new housing development is taking shape in Martley.

Lioncourt Homes is constructing 83 homes at Martley Fields, just off the B4197, and 10 miles from the centre of Worcester.

As the first homes are nearly ready, the housebuilder is preparing to launch its show home next month.

Danny Tunstall, construction director at the housebuilder, said: "Work is now well underway on our first homes at Martley Fields, with the external structure of what will be our show home now complete.

"For the first time, passers-by will be able to get a taste of the style of houses that we’re building, with excitement growing for the development’s official launch next month."

The development is aimed at people at all stages of the property ladder and will feature a mix of two, three, four, and five-bedroom homes, including two-bedroom bungalows.

The housebuilder has committed to creating sustainable communities by including air source heat pumps, EV charging points, and smart meters in the new homes.

Solar panels will also be available as an optional extra.

A large area of green open space, complete with walking routes, will be part of the development.

The homes are within walking distance of Martley Primary School and Chantry Secondary School, as well as a play area, skate park, and sports pitches.

Mr Tunstall added: "Being a Worcester-based housebuilder, we are passionate about delivering high-quality properties that local people will be proud to call home.

"It is great to see our vision come to life at Martley Fields."

The first residents are expected to move in by spring 2025, with prices for a two-bedroom home starting from £320,000.

Anyone interested in the new homes can register their interest on the housebuilder's website.

Lioncourt has won the House Building Federation's 5 Star Award for 10 consecutive years, and is recognised as one of the best-performing housebuilders for customer satisfaction.
