A POPULAR breakfast and brunch restaurant has officially launched its new deli.
Toast, in Flyford Flavell near Worcester, opens the doors to The Deli @ Toast today (Monday) following a launch gathering on Sunday afternoon (October 6).
The venue's director, Morgan Sanders, said: "There was no concrete plan for what the deli may look like, but what we've created is effectively a micro-shop of everything.
"I'm quite an eccentric character myself, and with Toast, I've always done things how I liked it - so we gave it a go."
Toast, which already offers a day restaurant alongside a bar into the evening in its main building, has renovated its neighbouring former space to create the deli.
Ms Sanders said: "It was a unused space since we moved the restaurant, so we were looking for an opportunity to do something with it.
"I wanted the right person to be involved though, so when I found Tamzin we were ready to pull it all together."
Tamzin Richards will head up the The Deli @ Toast as its general manager.

Mrs Richards said: "We will be open from 7am for breakfast, baps and hot drinks, because there's really no where else locally where people can grab a hot breakfast to go.
"We are so pleased with how everything has come together - we merged really well as a team."
Ms Sanders added: "It came down to the wire last week in terms of getting everything ready for opening.
"But I'm so proud of the whole team - we're super happy with the outcome."
The cosy wood panelled deli space has three areas, featuring garden items in one, soft furnishings and homewares in another and local produce including meats and condiments.
The deli will also offer grab and go coffee, cakes and sandwiches.
Oscar George, who created Pershore brand Pimp Your Mayo, will see his seasoning range in Toast's selection too.
Mr George said: "There's no where in Pershore that offers a deli like this - I already come to Toast regularly for breakfast.
"It's a beautiful space and it's nice to see Pimp Your Mayo on the shelves."
