A NEW cafe will be opening up at the home of a former popular tearoom.
A tearoom is set to open at the former home of G&Tea at 45 Friar Street in Worcester city centre.
The windows of 45 Friar Street have been decorated recently with a chalkboard sign hanging in the window.
The sign says: "Opening soon!
"Vintage Tearooms.
"You asked, we listened."
Chinaware, cake display stands and other café-themed items could be seen in the window.
It was most recently home to the popular café G&Tea, which closed its doors in May.
Laura Kavanagh, owner of G&Tea, said the business was forced to close due to the rising costs associated with running the business.
G&Tea received acclaim from visitors and won TripAdvisor's Travellers' Choice Award in 2023.
