WORCESTER'S splashpad is once again out of action.
The popular attraction in Gheluvelt Park will be closed by Worcester City Council for the bank holiday weekend due to maintenance issues.
The splashpad has seen frequent closures over recent months as an investigation into whether it has reached the end of its working life is underway.
David Blake, the council's manager director admitted the attraction's closure over the 'mini heatwave' in July was "embarrassing."
No timeframe has been given as to when the splashpad will reopen.
The council has apologised for any inconvenience caused.
