BOTTLES of water have been handed out to people affected by a burst water main.
Severn Trent has confirmed they are continuing to fix a burst water pipe in Droitwich and will be supplying bottled water to properties that are still without.
The incident happened this morning (August 16) and left most properties in WR9 without running water.
West Bank Road on Berry Hill was left unpassable and a footpath was left looking like a river.
A Severn Trent spokesperson said: “We’re pleased to say that everyone’s water supply back on in Droitwich, following the burst water pipe this morning.
"Our teams are now focussing on repairing the pipe and getting everything back to normal again, which they are working on now.
"We’d like to thank everyone for their patience and understanding and say sorry again to anyone who’s water was affected.”
The company also said that a "very small" number of properties remain without water as "they are in the shut" and would be provided with bottled water in the meantime.
