THIS is what a busy supermarket petrol station looks like now as major refurbishment work continues.

Tesco Superstore in Mill Wood Drive, Warndon Villages, Worcester closed its petrol filling station on Tuesday, May 7 while it undergoes 'improvements'.

The petrol station will remain closed until August and is now behind a chainlink fence.

A Tesco spokesperson said: “The petrol filling station at our Worcester Warndon Superstore will be temporarily closed for refurbishment from Tuesday, May 7 until August.

"We apologise for the inconvenience and look forward to welcoming customers back after the works are completed.”

The nearest Tesco petrol station after the closure will be the one in St Peters Drive.
