A petrol station in Worcester has been given planning permission to install new illuminated signs - despite objections from neighbours.
The Commandery Service Station in Bath Road, Sidbury, is rebranding from Texaco to Esso and wants to put up a new totem sign as well as LED lighting on the existing canopy.
City planners felt this would not have a significant impact on the amenity of the area or an impact on public safety.
But a number of neighbours had objected to the plans, raising various concerns related to light pollution.
