CLOUD, rain, wind - and the odd spell of sunshine - it has felt like a very cold start to April in Worcester.

However, the Met Office said the temperatures have remained average this spring.

Despite a large amount of rain drenching the county over the last few months, The Met Office said the city can look forward to "some fine weather coming up".

A Met Office spokesperson said: "We have a spell of fine weather coming up and lasting well into next week.

"The temperatures are average for this time of year but conditions will seem very pleasant in the sunshine."

According to the Met Office weather forecast, we are unlikely to see much rain over the next week, with temperatures ranging from 11C to 14C.
