An air ambulance service is fundraising for a vital pre-hospital emergency service.
The Midlands Air Ambulance Charity is encouraging communities across Herefordshire and Worcestershire to fundraise £288 for one additional critical car mission.
Every time the air ambulance is called out to an incident it costs £2,950 on average and each critical care car mission costs £288, which is entirely funded by the generosity of the public and local businesses.
The call comes for the 11th year of Giving Tuesday, and to achieve the goal, a 24-hour Facebook fundraiser is planned.
"Supporting us this means we can continue to reach and treat those who are critically ill and injured in the local area," the charity said.
