A CAR fire on the motorway has caused four miles of queues and delays of 20 minutes this afternoon (Sunday).
Traffic was stopped on the M5 southbound between junction 7 for Worcester and junction 8 for Malvern at just after 4.10pm.
Firefighters were called to the carriageway along with traffic officers from National Highways.

All lanes are now open and the incident has since been cleared though the traffic delays remain.
