A VAN fire on a residential Worcester road was put out by firefighters.
Fire crews were called to a small vehicle on fire in Worcester at 8.10am on this morning (Wednesday, August 9).

A spokesperson for Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said: “One Worcester Fire Station crew attended Bixton Close, near Northwick Road, where a van was well alight.
“Two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used one hose reel jet to extinguish the flames and there were no casualties.
“A thermal imaging camera check revealed no hot spots at the scene and the crew left the incident at 9.50am.”
